Keyboard shortcuts¶

Everything, on one page. The app also has its own copy under Help ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts, generated live from the menus and shown in its own window so you can keep it beside your diagram.

Tools¶

Tool letters work when the canvas has focus and you're not holding a modifier key.

Shape connection-point editing¶

Choose Edit Connection Points from a shape's context menu first, or select one unlocked shape and press Cmd+Alt+E.

These shortcuts toggle visibility. Window ▸ Panels ▸ [panel] ▸ Show/Hide uses the same shortcuts; showing a hidden panel restores its previous position.

Escape clears the selection when the canvas has focus and no edit or operation is active. Editing and group navigation take precedence: leave the edit or step out of the group first, then press Escape again at page level to deselect. Deselecting does not delete anything or add an Undo step.
