Presenting¶
Sometimes you want to use your diagram while explaining something to a colleague. Which is good, because that's what SimpleDiagrams is for. But in that moment the panels and tools are just clutter.
That's what Presentation is for.
Starting it¶
Page ▸ Present Pages — Cmd+Alt+Enter.
A full-screen window opens showing your diagram and nothing else. No toolbar, no panels, no chrome. It starts on whichever page you were looking at.
Perfect for a screen share, a recording, or just turning your laptop around.
Getting around¶

There are on-screen buttons too — Previous Page, Next Page and Exit Presentation — plus a label showing Page N of M and the page name, so you always know where you are in the deck.
What it isn't¶
Presentation in version 5 is a clean read-only view of your pages. The drawing pointer, fading pencil and laser-style tools from version 4 aren't here.
The view is read-only by design: you can't accidentally nudge a shape while you're talking, which was easier to do in version 4 than anyone would like.
Building a deck
Since presentation steps through pages, a multi-page document is a slide deck. Build up an explanation one page at a time — duplicate the page (Cmd+Shift+D), add the next piece, repeat. Then present it.
The alternative¶
If you just want more room while you're still working, Window ▸ Enter Full Screen (Ctrl+Cmd+F) gives you the normal editing window without the desktop behind it. Tools stay where they are.
Presentation is for showing. Full screen is for working.
